Blessings Box

Count Your Many Blessings

I don't much care for blogs that ramble forever to get to the point so I will try to be complete and concise.

Googled images of number art, found many varieties, typically I will pin these on my Pinterest but already had an idea so no time for that, lol. From images I was inspired by the "Count your many Blessings".

So searched "Blessings" in the Silhouette Store, fantastic .99 download. Could have use DE software, but sometimes it's more fun to project then design it. Resized for my application.

I have 'old stamper' font, it was a free download from somewhere but I got it a while ago and don't remember which site, sorry.

Typed out 1-9 made it compound path. It automatically prints with an upper and lower border didn't want those. Removed borders and any other little tidbits I didn't think would cut well. Made sure numbers stayed grouped per number. Then arranged them changed sizes, turned them sideways. Created extra numbers for either sides. Play have fun!
Cut these in scrap repositionable vinyl.

Now the fun part. I was inspired by a great group of ladies to try this removal painting style.
I spray painted the entire box white for a base coat, let dry. Then the top only red, let dry.

Adhere 'Count your many blessings' spray paint entire box white again, let dry.
Then I adhered the numbers.

You guessed it paint again, this time I used black.

Great advice from friends remove when tacky.

I then distressed it with a little sandpaper. Added a clear satin over the top to complete.

Hope that wasn't too winded! Love that so many people helped along the way, making it true to remember to "Count Your Many Blessings."
